About

My journey began in Cotonou, Benin, in West Africa, where my parents served as missionaries. Needless to say, as I grew up, it was a cultural shift to move from Africa to Texas, and then to Minnesota. I consider my home to be the frozen northland, but I took a detour in Missouri for college at Hannibal-LaGrange University. Met my wife, Rebecca, in college and served a local church while cramming a 4-year degree into 9 years.

We have 4 daughters: Sarah, Rachel, Abigail, and Grace. We live in Rochester, Minnesota, where I serve as Youth Pastor at Emmanuel Baptist Church and work as a Digital Product Manager for UnitedHealthcare / Optum.

I’m not perfect, just a person saved by the grace of God. Jesus transformed my life during my teenage years, resulting in peace, understanding, and forgiveness. Since then, my purpose has been to follow the Lord’s calling on my life into ministry through loving people, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, and encouraging and equipping believers to use their gifts in service to God.
