If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

Let me ask you a question: Did you walk by the Spirit this week?

If I’m honest, the answer is not all the time. Work was really busy, and deadlines had to be met. The girls had activities and needed to be places. It can be difficult to live by the Spirit, let alone leave room for spiritual connections with others.

But even with my distractedness, God still found a way to remind me to walk by the Spirit. Not in my strength, but in His strength. It is the beautiful work of the Holy Spirit that is alive in us. The Holy Spirit meets us where we are and lovingly directs us in His steps.

Today, be refreshed by the Spirit. Find some time to listen to the Spirit. Then, as you start the week anew, keep in step with the Spirit.
